In his own original way the author approaches the main topic and presents all the documents relevant to early and contemporary stagein development of laparoscopic procedure reminding us we live in the era of telesurgery which combines laparoscopic techniques with robotics and virtual reality.
The originality of this book lies in presenting documents, photographs and biografi es of ‘two hundred odd protagonists of this unique story’ belonging to diff erent bouts but all related to the topic of Laparoscopic surgery through history.
Because of its uniqueness the book and the author merit to be placed in the bibliography of the history of medicine, in its laparoscopic surgery section.
